Add-on Terms
Last updated: 20 October 2026
The short version
- OurFamilyGrid is free. These terms only cover the optional paid add-ons (OurProjectGrid and OurEventsGrid).
- Each add-on starts with a 30-day free trial. No card needed, and nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
- Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the time you've paid for.
- Changed your mind? Email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.
1. About these terms
OurFamilyGrid and its sister apps are run by Timothy Jollie, an individual in the UK. Contact: hello@ourfamilygrid.com. These add-on terms sit alongside the main Terms of Service, which still apply, and the privacy policy. Add-ons use your OurFamilyGrid login (how that works).
2. Paid add-ons
- Price: £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year for each add-on ($3.99 / $39.99 in the US). The price is shown before you pay and includes any tax we have to charge.
- Free trial: 30 days, starting the first time you open the add-on. If you subscribe during the trial, your first payment is taken when the trial ends.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. Stripe handles the payment; we never see your card.
- Cancelling: any time, from Account → Payments → Manage billing, or by emailing us. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Refunds: by law you have 14 days after buying to change your mind. You can start using the add-on straight away; if you ask within 14 days of your first payment, we'll refund it in full anyway. After that, payments aren't refunded for part-used periods, but cancelling stops the next one. If something we did went wrong, email us and we'll put it right.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before a price change affects you, so you can cancel first.
- Not available in the EU yet: add-ons can't be bought by households in EU countries for now, because of how EU VAT works for small UK sellers.
- When a subscription ends: your data in the add-on is kept, so you can pick up where you left off if you subscribe again. You can delete it, or your whole account, any time.
3. If an add-on closes
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice, refund any time you've paid for but can't use, and let you download your data first.
4. Your rights
Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer. If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll email subscribers before it takes effect.
